The Southern New England Entrepreneurs Forum (SNEEF) opens its 2009-10 networking and speakers forum with a Business Plan Review of the medical device startup NuOrtho Surgical Company, Inc. , Thursday, September 10, 5:30-8:00 p.m. , at the Advanced Technology Manufacturing Center ATMC, 151 Martine Street , Fall River .
Participants will learn about business plan implementation, licensing, and venture capital formation. The business plan experience of medical device manufacturer NuOrtho Surgical, Inc. of Fall River , which develops surgical instruments for tissue preservation, will serve as an example of how to build, finance, license and grow a successful start-up venture.
The panel will be led by Moderator Robert Creeden, Partners HealthCare. Creeden is Managing Partner for the Partners Innovation Fund at Partners HealthCare, where he oversees the creation and launching of new ventures generated from Partners' innovative research discoveries.
Venture capitalist Bob Lamkin, Managing Director of Bay Angels, will lead a panel discussion featuring the following panelists:
