Networking and Speakers Forum: Case Study of Marinus Research and Design Company

The evening will include networking and a presentation / panel discussion focusing on MRDC, an exciting engineering research and development company involved in developing solutions for marine applications. Marinus Research and Design Company (MRDC) is affiliated with the Northeast Maritime Institute. All entrepreneurs, investors, students and interested parties are welcome.

MRDC is most widely known for its development of "Golden Shellback"®, a technology which can waterproof anything, including your cell phone. You may have seen it demonstrated on the "Today Show". MRDC has created biometric monitoring systems for railroad applications, installed remote bridge monitoring systems and consulted for security systems for shipyards and remote monitoring systems for marine facilities. It is now about to expand to create the SouthCoast's first stand-alone engineering research and development center.
